Episcopal Visitor

Our Episcopal Visitor is The Rt. Rev. Roger Ames (ret.) of the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes, Anglican Church of North America (ACNA).

Our Abbot

The Very Rev. Timothy Luken has been the Abbot of the Company of Jesus since April, 2019. Previously, he served as the Chancellor/Secretary after making his own Franciscan profession in 2011.  Abbot Timothy came to us as a member of LivingStone Monastery, which he joined in 2009. He was appointed as Prior, in 2012 and became Abbot of LivingStone Monastery in 2019. LivingStone Monastery is located in Newport News, VA His main occupation has been that of Director of Five Loaves Food Pantry.

Five Loaves Food Pantry, while a ministry of LivingStone Monastery, is a partner ministry of 10 different churches and a number of other civic organizations. Five Loaves distributes food five days a week. In In 2019, 1,702 families, comprised of 5,005 family members, were served in over 16,865 visits.  Those families received over 54,427 distributions totaling over 433,012 lbs. of food.   

Remembering that no one gets paid over 13,000 labor hours were donated: along with over $740,000 of food.  Including operations space, we received over $995,739 of In-Kind Support.  It was done on less than $26,500.

Chaplain

The Rev. Mark Scotton formerly served as Archdeacon of the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes (ACNA), and now serves as Rector at the Anglican Church of the Transfiguration (ACNA) in Cleveland, OH. He attended Borromeo College of Ohio, Washington Theological Union, and St. Mary’s Theological Seminary. Fr. Mark taught school and has worked with youth for 30 years. Additionally, he has a real passion for passing on our faith to the next generation. He is passionate about worship and leading people into the Lord’s presence using the Arts within the context of the worship experience. Fr. Mark has been a member of the Company of Jesus since 1015.

Chancellor

The Rev. Lee McLeod serves as the Rector of St. Aidan’s Anglican Church (ACNA), in Nicholasville, KY. He has studied rhetoric and logic at Arizona State University, and theology and church history at Asbury Theological Seminary. He was ordained as an Anglican priest in 2010. He has been a member of the Company of Jesus since 2009, and has served as Director of Franciscan Vocations from 2012 to 2019, and as Chancellor since then. He and his wife Jessica (CoJ) have two daughters, Tully and Moira, one son, Iain, and a beagle just to keep them all on their toes.

Director of Vocations

The Rev. James Hutchison is the Vicar at Christ Our Redeemer Anglican Church (ACNA) in Lynchburg, VA, and is a school psychologist with Bedford County Public Schools.  He is licensed as a professional counselor and a marriage and family therapy in Virginia and is a fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Fr. James has theological degrees from Bethany Theological Seminary and Union Theological Seminary in VA (pastoral counseling) and a doctorate in community and agency counseling (with a cognate in school psychology) from The College of William and Mary. Additionally he offers spiritual direction to interested persons and is a psychological evaluator and mentor to postulants for Holy Orders.  He is married to Christine and has a daughter, two stepsons, and three grandsons. Director of Celtic Vocations

Procurator

The Rev. Dcn. Jesse Alexander IV serves as Deacon at St. Aidan's Anglican Church (ACNA), in Nicholasville, KY.  He made his profession to the Company in 2010 and was ordained in 2015.  He has studied religious studies at Western Kentucky University, theology and church history at Asbury Theological Seminary, and accounting at Southern New Hampshire University.  Dcn. Jesse and his wife, Sharon, have a daughter and a son.
